Balgownie Estate is bringing the beach to the Yarra Valley this January for a Summer High Tea experience like no other! Hosted by our friends, Mary Eats Cake, expect a luxury High Tea set within our Vines Marquee. Experience beach club vibes, resort style décor, and our Yarra Valley vineyard as your backdrop.
The High Tea features oysters with Chimichurri & lime, chicken Caesar sandwiches, a summer pavlova, Mary Eats Cake’s famous scones, unlimited speciality teas, and much more. Accompanying the High Tea will be a selection of our wine cocktails including our Cuvée Limoncello and Rosé Iced Tea.

Where wine meets cocktail! Looking for a new and different experience to enjoy with a group of friends? Why not try our new wine cocktail masterclass, Wine-Tail. Learn how to make wine-based cocktails using a selection of Balgownie Estate's wine varieties.
To start the experience guests will be given an informative tasting by our in-house Cellar Door experts of our 4 Black Label wines including our NV Premium Cuvée Brut, 2020 Rose, 2019 Sangiovese and NV Sparkling Shiraz.
Guests will then be guided through a cocktail wine blending experience where they will make 4 cocktails with wines they tasted. Cocktails include Limoncello, Rose Iced Tea, Sangria and Balgownie Spritz. Guests are encouraged to play with different garnishes and mixers to create their very own signature cocktail range.
Our Wine-tail experience runs for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on group size.
