As part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, Balgownie Estate have created the ultimate foodie afternoon with their Producers' Lunch & Market. Starting with an intimate three-course lunch hosted by Head Winemaker, Tony Winspear in a private area of our estate, followed by an exclusive producers' market.
The menu will showcase the finest local produce the region has to offer, with producers set to join guests at the table to share their stories. Each course will have a suggested wine pairing from Balgownie Estate.
After guests have finished dining there will be the opportunity to visit the producers' market, located just footsteps away from the private dining area. The market will include the suppliers featured in the lunch, plus additional local producers, some of whom don’t generally sell direct to the public.

To start the experience guests will be given an informative tasting by our in-house Cellar Door experts of our 4 Black Label wines including our NV Premium Cuvée Brut, 2020 Rose, 2019 Sangiovese and NV Sparkling Shiraz.
Guests will then be guided through a cocktail wine blending experience where they will make 4 cocktails with wines they tasted. Cocktails include Limoncello, Rose Iced Tea, Sangria and Balgownie Spritz. Guests are encouraged to play with different garnishes and mixers to create their very own signature cocktail range.
Our Wine-tail experience runs for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on group size.
